The Department of Health has published guidance on fire safety in the design of new healthcare buildings and extensions.
This revised guidance reflects the changes in legislation, structure of the NHS, and government policy.
The guidance will help statutory regulations to be applied correctly so they meet the requirements of Part B of Schedule 1 of the 2010 Building Regulations.
